Common questions

Before you enroll

Do I need any prior experience to start?
Foundation BSL requires no previous knowledge. Other courses have prerequisites listed in their descriptions. If you're unsure which level suits you, email us and we can arrange a brief assessment conversation.

How long do I have access to course materials?
Once enrolled, you have lifetime access to the course content you purchased, including any future updates we make to those materials. Live sessions are scheduled during specific weeks, but recordings are available afterward.

Can I switch courses if I start at the wrong level?
Within the first two weeks, yes. Contact us and we'll transfer you to a more suitable course at no additional cost if moving to a similarly priced option. If switching to a more expensive course, you'll pay the difference; less expensive, we'll issue a partial refund.

During your course

What if I fall behind the suggested schedule?
Our courses are self-paced within reason. While we provide a recommended weekly structure, you can move faster or slower based on your commitments. Live sessions are optional but recommended—if you miss one, you can watch the recording.

Can I get feedback on my signing?
Yes. All courses except Foundation BSL include opportunities for instructor feedback, either through live sessions or submitted video assignments. Foundation students can access peer feedback through our community platform.

Technical support

What devices can I use?
Our platform works on desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. For the best experience with video lessons, we recommend a screen size of at least 10 inches. You'll need a webcam if you want to record yourself for practice feedback.

What internet speed do I need?
A minimum of 5 Mbps for streaming video lessons smoothly. If your connection is slower, you can download lessons for offline viewing.
